The climax of the story occurs when Vera Clythorne and Phillip Lombard are arguing and fighting with each other about which one of them is the murderer. I guess you could say that the problem was resolved when Vera had shot Phillip and then was forced by fear of an eerie noose hanging from the hook in her bedroom. The epilogue had really helped the resolution of the story by explaining what had happened and who was really at fault. I really liked the end of the novel because it was creepy and awesome how the mystery unfolded in the end. This novel seemed fairly believable because somebody could pull this off if they were crazy enough. Plus there were no unrealistic elements in this story that could’ve altered the chance of it being believable. I would recommend this novel to a friend because it is a really good book to read for a school report of just for entertainment. I don’t realy read many books, but this one really caught my attention and kept me interested throughout the whole thing. The thing I liked most about this novel was all the different ways of killing the victims, it was really clever how it matched the nursery rhyme and made it feel really creepy and kind of psychotic at the same time. The thing I didn’t like about this story was….. well, I cant really think of something I didn’t like about it. But I don’t like that we have to write an essay about it. I don’t like writing.
